Several months ago I had the pleasure of photographing a Michigan wedding with a photographer friend of mine, Ed of Edward John Photography. It was a chilly, rainy, Midwest fall day, but the wedding was gorgeous and Tom & Jessica had an amazing day. We had a lot of fun dashing in and out of buildings to create great images between the sprinkles and the approaching frost bite :-). Fortunately, Mother Nature held out for us and I’m proud to say Mission Accomplished! By the end of the day my feet were soaked from walking through the grass and the brides dress was more than a little damp, but it was all worth it. Tom and Jessica are two awesome people. Not only were they troopers but their obvious love and quirky since of humor sure kept me inspired. One of my favorite things about these two is that they had the hilarious idea to carve “Thank You” into a pumpkin that was displayed at the wedding. Between the Thank You pumpkin, their obvious love and the Groom’s Doughnut cake, I couldn’t help but have an awesome time photographing these two!
Kim and Carl were married on July 11th, 2009 and it was truly a pleasure capturing their big day. I spoke to Kim just the other day and we joked about the fact that she really doesn’t remember seeing us at the wedding. “I don’t remember seeing you all, but I know you were there…” I guess my invisible suit worked. As you’ll see, we were there for all the special moments and then some. You know by now that I love to photograph life and what’s better in life than love? Here are quite a few of our favorites…
Manny and Nicole are long time friends from college and I was so honored to be invited to their wedding. They are a beautiful couple and it was great to see them tie the knot! Manny and Nicole, congratulations to you and I look forward to seeing you grow old together. Sorry it took a while to get these pictures into the Blog! I love you both and I’m so happy for both of you.
